Tuesday, 15th October, was the occasion of 1st Coseley Girls' Brigade
Awards and Enrolment which they shared with Darkhouse Boys' Club.

Awards and Enrolment which they shared with Darkhouse Boys' Club.

Tuesday, 14th July, Girls' Brigade joined Boys' Club for an evening of Bowling at Bowlplex, Dudley.
It was a fun evening marking the end of Summer Term for both organisations.

held a joint Christmas party when a surprise VIP arrived
with 2 sacks of gifts!

Tuesday, 4th November, Girls' Brigade and Boys' Club shared a Fireworks Party with Samantha Perry organising burgers and hot dogs on behalf of Girls' Brigade and Kieron Norton organising the fireworks on behalf of Boys' Club. Parents and friends came along and shared an enjoyable evening.

1st Coseley Girls' Brigade held their Annual Enrolment Service on Tuesday, 21st October,
when Mrs Yvonne Norton MBE was Guest of Honour.
Pastor David Umbers, Chaplain, led the Service and the music was provided by Mr Simon Weaver, Church Organist. Girls, Officers, Helpers and many friends were also in attendance along with members of the Boys' Club.
Following the entrance of the Colours,
Mr Kieron Norton spoke of the Boys' Club activities and Mrs Norton presented each of the Boys with a certificate.
The Girls' Brigade Officers, Helpers and Girls were then enrolled.
Mrs Norton presented the Girls with their awards, praising each one for their achievement and encouraging them to continue to go forward with the Girls' Brigade.
The Vote of Thanks was given by Mrs Edna Paskin, the Girls' Brigade President,
and Pastor David Umbers gave a short Talk, along with a little magic.
The Brigaders spoke of their charity work within the Company
and the leader of the Lanesfield Band asked for any Girls who might like to join the Band
to try the instruments he had brought along.
The Service closed with the Colours being received back and paraded out of church by the Colour Guard.
Mrs Olive Stanford, Team Leader, thanks all who helped make the evening such a success.
