Darkhouse Summer Fayre
Saturday, 28th June
opened by Cheryl & Neil Langford
Oh what fun we had, when
the seaside came to Darkhouse….
Cheryl Langford (local PCSO) opened the Fayre alongside her husband, Neil, and set the wheels in motion for a fun-filled afternoon.
There were games, balloon modelling, face painting, tombola, plant sales, tuck shop, cream teas and Punch & Judy.…… everything necessary to make Darkhouse Summer Fayre a very special day in the calendar.
Special guests this year were the donkeys (YES - donkey rides in Coseley) who travelled all the way from Much Wenlock to ensure that the day had a true seaside feel. They really did enjoy giving the youngsters a ride around the perimeter with a good munch of Coseley grass in between rides!
Katie volunteered (honestly) to be in the stocks. Everyone had great fun throwing wet sponges at her!
Huge thanks go to Lynn and her Line Dancing Ladies who, as always, put on a great show.
Will E Droppit was a great success, entertaining the children from 1 to 80 with his Punch & Judy show, face painting and balloon modelling, which were enjoyed by everyone.
Everyone is now looking forward to Darkhouse Summer Fayre 2015
